Who are the care providers?

ANSWER:   Our staff is one of the highest skilled care groups in the state.  We diligently hand selected our Care Staff to provide a level of care on par with any hospital.  Our 24 hour staff currently consists of:

  • 3 Resident Nurses - Trauma Certified (T.N.C.C., E.R. Nurses from  local Hospitals - St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, Crittenton, Beaumont)
  • 3 Nurse Technicians (Over 15 years of experience)
  • 2 Medical Students
  • 4 Direct Care Staff (Over 25 years of experience)

 What type of rooms do you have?


ANSWER: We have Private (Single Bed with Bathroom) and Semi-Private (2 Beds with Bathroom).  Bedrooms are fully furnished (In-room TV Installation upon service agreement and fee), Free WIFI Internet, Computer Room for resident use.  2 Large TV Rooms for resident use.

What is your Facility Rate?

ANSWER:  We have Semi-Private Rooms and Private Rooms which range from $4000 to $6000 per month.

What is included in the monthly Facility Rate?

ANSWER:  Included with the Facility Rate for care and various needs of daily living for each resident are:

Room and Board, 24 hour care and supervision, 3 home cooked meals per day, discreet and personalized support with daily tasks like bathing, grooming and getting dressed, toiletries, Kleenex, soap, shampoo, diapers, and incontinent pads, Laundry and linen services, Daily and weekly activities plan.

What Services are not included in the monthly Facility Rate?

ANSWER:  There are services which we do offer that incur a surcharge, such as:

  • Medication Management:
    • Level I - Providing oral prescription medications (i.e. pill form, liquid, eye-drops, vitamins, pain management, topical ointments/powder).
    • Level II – Includes Level I. Providing oral medications as stated above: There are potentially dangerous drug interactions and other complications that can occur when a resident ingests large numbers of medications to address chronic illnesses and multiple diseases. An assessment and conference is always necessary with the resident’s medical staff and/or Doctor(s) as well as monitoring of multiple medications, which is managed by our on staff Registered Trauma Nurse (T.N.C.C.)
    • Level III – Includes Level I and II. Providing medical injections (i.e. Insulin, other prescribed injection)
  • Pharmacy - The resident or designated representative will be billed monthly by the pharmacy for prescriptions and supplies if ordered for them.
  • Beauty aids, make-up, over the counter medications, vitamins, prescriptions, health drinks/beverages (If resident or designated representative wishes, the facility will provide these items at an additional charge.  These costs will be added to the monthly statement of charges)
  • Health or beauty facilities outside of this facility will be the responsibility of the resident or designated representative. A beautician is available in the facility, at extra charge, for hair-cuts and perms for those residents not physically capable or those that do not wish to receive such services outside the facility.
  • In facility services of a Podiatrist are available on a bimonthly basis. Podiatry services are billed by the Podiatrist to the resident's insurance (Medicare, Blue Cross, etc.)
  • Cost of emergency medical treatment and/or emergency medical transportation will be the responsibility of the resident or designated representative.
  • Foot/Wound Care (Wound Care Nurse will be contacted/Rate assessed by Nurse)
